  • All evaluation reports based on these tools can, if required, use a shared reporting template to support consistency and clarity across different advice and advocacy services.

  • The template is aligned to the Advice and Advocacy Outcomes Framework and reflects the evaluation approaches recommended in this toolkit. It is designed to help staff reflect on what changed, how change happened, and how this links to outcomes — using evidence that is proportionate to the type and length of support provided.

  • Reports can draw on different types of data depending on the service model. For advice services, this may include one-off outcome surveys completed at case closure. For advocacy work, reports might also include case studies or client interviews to explore impact in greater depth.

  • Using a consistent reporting structure makes it easier to produce reports that are credible to funders, useful for internal reflection, and comparable across delivery settings.
